Country Crock Review through Influenster

#CountryCrock #MakeItYours Cookie recipe and review through Influenster

I received a coupon from Influenster for a free tub of butter from Country Crock. It also came with a recipe card for the Make It Your Own cookies. For the review, we had to make the cookies and follow the instructions on how to make it yours. You had a base recipe and you needed at the very least two add in ingredients plus any toppings you wanted.

The recipe is pretty simple and easy to make. I did go with the lowest time for the recipe for mine since I made my cookies on the small side.

The hardest part was the part with one egg yolk. Normally I am not the most graceful at separating eggs , but this time, I pulled it off like a champ!

After mixing the wet ingredients well I sifted together the dry ingredients and added them to the wet a little at a time. About 1/3 of the dry at a time.

After everything is mixed well then you throw in your add-ins.

My first add-in choice was Culinary Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder. Two level tablespoonfuls.

My second add-in choice was 3/4 cup dried cranberries. You can adjust this amount if you like.

I made 2 inch balls and slightly flattened them on a cooking mat lined cookie sheet.

Then I added my topping ingredient. I picked sliced Almonds. I sprinkled them on each cookie and pressed them into the dough lightly.

My Make It Yours Matcha Cranberry Almond Cookies turned out amazing. The first night they are a little dry. If you can hold off they are better the next day. They get softer and the taste of the three added ingredients together are lovely and compliment each other so well. I wasn't sure if they would I just wanted to do something different instead of the normal chocolate chips and such. I am very happy with the recipe I made up and they were a huge hit with everyone that tried them.

I have used Country Crock in many ways over the years, but I can honestly say I never even thought about using it for baking. It works wonderful and I would definitely use it again. I did pick the churn style for my review because it is my favorite. It worked amazingly well in baking. I would recommend it to anyone doing some baking and the recipe calls for butter.

What will you add to your own Make It Yours Cookies now?

#TheAmuseBouche by Bite Experience

I was lucky enough not long ago to win a spot in an Influenster Vox Box. #TheAmuseBouche by Bite vox box! I received three full-size lipsticks in three different colors. Pepper, a nude kind of color. Gazpacho, a beautiful red. Beetroot, a gorgeous deep berry wine color. Amuse Bouche lipsticks are sold at Sephora and come in 34 beautiful bold dimensional shades. Handcrafted with an ultra-creamy texture from 12 edible oils and fresh-pressed fruits. You can smell the yummy citrus scent while wearing the moisturizing lipsticks. The pigments are deep and gorgeous with a high color payoff. I'm not much on nude shades, but Pepper I must say is a beautiful shade.

Pepper is a sort of nude shade with a beautiful tone. It is a great daytime lipstick for me. Even on pale skin, it is a very nice color.

Gazpacho is an amazing red shade. I would wear it day or night. Red is one of my favorite shades. This one is beautiful against pale skin.

Beetroot is a gorgeous berry wine pigment. Again day or night for me. It also looks amazing against pale shade skin.

This line of lipsticks is amazing. I can't say I that I have ever tried anything like them before. I am so glad I got the chance to review them and see for myself how great they are. Beautiful bullet packaging. There is even a B pressed right into lipstick itself.

Okay. The only two cons I could find with these three is size and transfer. There is a good amount of product inside the bullet packaging but not compared to most lipsticks. I do wish they were bigger. They wear off relatively fast and transfer onto items like straws and cups very easily. The darker shades do leave a slight stain behind but that I do actually like.

Overall even with the two things I didn't like much I love these lipsticks. The glide on. It doesn't take much product at all to achieve a bold color payoff. There is a slight shine so they aren't matte. I would still recommend them. Even though I hate the transfer I love the lipsticks.
